ONLINE STUDENT FEEDBACK SURVEY (SFS) SEMESTER 3, 2023/2024

 

  • Please be informed that you are required to complete online EXTENTION OF STUDENT FEEDBACK SURVEY (SFS)
  • Starting from 3 Jun 2024 until 9 July 2024.
  • URL address : http://sfscfs.iium.edu.my/sfs
  • Accessible only through OPEN NETWORK
  • For enquires on SFS exercise, kindly refer to the Office of the Deputy Dean, Academic and Industrial Linkages (ODDAIL) during office hours


Those who fail to submit the survey will be blocked from accessing their examination result

IIUM Student Feedback Survey (SFS) System

What?

The SFS is a platform for students to give feedback on lecturers, courses, University's facilities and Kulliyyahs. The SFS replaces the previous Teaching Efficiency Rating (TER) system. The SFS has three (3) parts:

  • Part A: Lecturer
    •  students give feedback on the lecturer
  • Part B: Course
    • students give feedback on the course
  • Part C: University
    • students give feedback on the University’s facilities

There are two evaluation scales used for the survey. There are:

1.     4 Star Rating (Part A & B)

Agree          3
Strongly Agree          4

 

 

2.     5 Star Rating (Part C )
  
Description  Scale
Very Poor 1
Poor  2
Average           3
Good         4
Excellent  5


When?

 

  • The SFS is conducted two (2) times in every semester except for the short semester where it is conducted only once. The first run will be conducted in week 7 of the semester, while the second run will be conducted starting from week 11.
  • At the end of the first run of the SFS (week 7), lecturers will be able to view their own SFS score for each class that they are teaching. This score will not be counted as the final score.
